Start with the Hogan Insights Report
Our coaches will start with the basic platform putting your nominated people (whether recruiting, new, onboarding, or existing) through the Hogan Insights Series. This measures everyday personality and describes an individual’s performance in the workplace, how they manage stress, interact with others, approach tasks and solve problems. Assessed against seven scales, the report identifies strengths as well as areas for improvement and discussion points for developmental feedback.
It includes a 30-minute pre-assessment session with your leader or high potential, and then the three-part assessments each including the reports and 90-minutes coaching session per assessment over typically a two week period.
Hogan Personality Inventory
The Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI) describes normal, or bright-side personality — qualities that describe how people relate to others when operating at their best. This is useful whether you're looking for the right people to hire in the first place, or when you want to develop your existing people to be better leaders.
Hogan Development Survey
The Hogan Development Survey (HDS) describes the dark side of personality — qualities that emerge in times of increased strain and can disrupt relationships, damage reputations, and derail peoples’ chances of success. By assessing dark-side personality, you can recognise and mitigate performance risks before they become a problem.
Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory
The Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI) describes personality from the inside — the core goals, values, drivers, and interests that determine what people desire and strive to attain. By assessing values, you can understand what motivates candidates to succeed, and in what type of position, job, and environment they will be the most productive.
The Hogan 360 assessment, powered by Peter Berry Consultancy, is used when your nominated coaches are managers of people. It measures reputation by comparing self-assigned ratings against those from peers, managers and direct reports.
Based on the Hogan model of personality, the assessment benchmarks an individual’s scores on a number of competencies against others, highlighting strengths and opportunities for development. This comprehensive feedback creates the perfect context for strategic self-awareness and professional growth.
